2019 EducationUSA Fair Skopje, Macedonia
The sixth annual EducationUSA Fair was held on April 11th, which welcomed 14 American universities to the Skopje Marriott Hotel to meet with prospective students, teachers and parents. Thanks to the help of visiting representatives, students were able to ask questions and receive information required to apply. The Fair helped students learn more about the dozens of exciting programs in a range of academic fields while also discussing a wide variety of research opportunities, scholarships and financial aid.
Each year, the Fair continues to expand and grow by including new institutions and research opportunities for students to learn about. This event is an essential aspect of students's experiences with EducationUSA and the Competitive College Club as it introduces them to representatives where they may directly interact and have their questions answered immediately. Hundreds of prospective students, teachers and parents were able to attend and learn more about a number of U.S. universities, including:

2017 International Education Fair Bitola, Macedonia
On November 30th, American Corner Bitola, the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia and the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Bitola organized the first International Education Fair in Bitola. The main reason for creating this Fair was to celebrate the two year long formal cooperation between American Corner Bitola, the U.S. Embassy and the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Bitola. The Fair welcomed around 180 young people from Bitola and the surrounding region, including high school and college students, young professionals, parents as well as high school and college teachers.
In addition, this Fair gathered together all relevant institutions and organizations that actively work on youth involvement and engagement in international projects and programs such as: U.S. Embassy in Macedonia, UKLO's Office for International Cooperation, UKLO's Career Center KREDO, The French Alliance, The French Institute, YMCA Bitola, SFERA Bitola, IAESTE Bitola, AIESEC Prilep, Students for Liberty - Macedonia, CEEPUS, and American Corner Bitola.
All the organizations shared their information about paid professional internships for students of technical sciences, cultural exchanges, European volunteering internship programs for college students, information on international language tests such as TOEFL iBT and DELF, opportunities for participating in international projects, opportunities for participating in camps, volunteering opportunities on international events, training opportunities for job hunting, career advising, scholarships for student exchange programs, scholarships for master and doctoral programs abroad, scholarships from companies for college students, and information on EVS programs.

2016 EducationUSA Fair Skopje, Macedonia
On April 12th, 2016 EducationUSA in Macedonia and the U.S. Embassy Macedonia had the pleasure of organizing the third EducationUSA Fair of Higher Education in the United States of America which attracted more than 400 students and parents. 14 representatives from great American colleges and universities visited Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Podgorica, Belgrade, Skopje and Prishtina as a part of EducationUSA Southeast European Tour 2016. Representatives of the higher education institutions presented at the Fair in Skopje where they answered many questions about their academic programs for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as opportunities for scholarships and financial aid. EducationUSA is a network that has more than 400 advising centers in 170 different countries around the world. This platform is supported by the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the State Department, which aims is to develop understanding between US citizens and citizens of other countries.
After the huge success at the EdUSA Fair held on April 12th, 2016 at Holiday Inn in Skopje 8 representatives from the American colleges and universities visited the NOVA high school with a purpose of meeting and talking with high school students and parents about studying opportunities in the U.S. During their stay in NOVA, reps also had a chance to meet and share experience with NOVA advisers as well as with the principal of the school who welcomed and greeted them. On the other hand, the rest of the representatives had a chance to meet university students from FON University and to answer their questions related to Masters and Doctoral studies.

2014 Embassy College Fair
On November 19th, the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia organized an amazing College Fair for international students from Skopje and the region. The Fair featured 19 U.S. universities including:

2014 EducationUSA Fair Skopje, Macedonia
EducationUSA Macedonia was pleased to invite students to the Fair for U.S. Higher Education on March 28th at the Holiday Inn in Skopje, where they met with American university representatives and receive firsthand, accurate, and reliable information about undergraduate and graduate studies in the Unites States. More than 500 high-school, undergraduate and graduate students from all over Macedonia visited the Fair and had the opportunity to get accurate, comprehensive and current information about all the opportunities for studying and professional development in the United States. This event was part of the 2014 EducationUSA Southern Europe University Tour, which took place in eight European cities: Lisbon, Madrid, Valencia, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade, and Skopje.
At the Fair, students learned about the opportunities and resources of the U.S. Embassy’s American Corners, Educational Centers, and educational exchange programs, and also meet with representatives of the following colleges and universities:
In addition, there were about 10 other tables presenting information and resources on Financial Aid and Scholarships, test preparation, undergraduate admissions applications, American Councils and their high school exchange programs, graduate and Fulbright programs as well as a table promoting the Competitive College Club staffed by CCC students. There were also 4 video screens showing the videos throughout the fair. No other words can explain the success of this Fair better than what the REAC Cheryl Francisconi said during the event: “Who knew that we saved the best for last! There are over 500 registered and busloads of students continuing to arrive from all over the country. This has been the surprise of the tour! Congrats to EducationUSA Macedonia! “ It was definitely a wonderful way to end up this tour. The success of the Fair would have not been possible without the support of the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia as well as all AC staff and EducationUSA advisers together with the support and enthusiasm of the EducationUSA Competitive College Club students from Skopje and Bitola.
On March 29th, the US reps met with about 20 EducationUSA Competitive College Club students in Macedonia for coffee and conversation and were impressed with the quality of students and their commitment to preparing themselves to study in the US. This is one of EducationUSA signature programs and one student shared "the CCC changed my life. No matter what happens I have learned so much about myself."
